Dick Jenkins, General Manager, Immaculate Heart Radio

Dick Jenkins - General Manager of Immaculate Heart Radio Dick Jenkins came to Immaculate Heart Radio with 39 years of radio experience in both non-commercial and commercial radio. Throughout his career in both secular and Christian broadcasting, Dick has held the following radio positions: morning show announcer, news anchor, copywriter, program director, operations director, general manager and President/CEO.

For 23 years, Dick Jenkins was President/CEO of the K-LOVE Radio Network. Starting with a single radio station, Dick grew it to become a network of 267 FM stations and 330 FM translators in 46 states.

Dick Jenkins helped start the first national Christian network in Ireland and continues to serve on the Spirit Radio Board of Director’s. He also holds a Federal Communications Commission First Class Engineering License and is a private pilot. In 2009, Dick also engaged in radio consulting assignments for radio clients in England, New Zealand, Australia, Canada and in the U.S.

Asked by his longtime friend Doug Sherman, the Founder-President of the Immaculate Heart Radio Network, Dick came out of “retirement” in January 2012 to become the General Manager for the IHR Network.
