Setting Things Right for Sept. 19, 2012

The September 19th Setting Things Right show explores the death penalty and Catholic support for California’s Proposition 34  which replaces the death penalty with a penalty of life without the possibility of parole.  Hosts and guests also respond to a replay of a compelling interview of Franky Carrillo, exonerated after serving 20 years of a 30-years-to-life sentence, that was recorded on the June 6, 2012, Setting Things Right show.

Special in-studio guests include:

  • Catherine Thiemann, “Yes on 34” lead organizer
  •  Deacon Patrick Byrne, Jr. from Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Ramona, California, and
  •  Jennifer Bonakdar,  Proposition 34 volunteer and member of Our Mother of Confidence Parish in San Diego
