Bay Area Catholic for April 2

Put on your thinking cap and enjoy the meal! There’s much food for thought in Ignatius Press’ new book by mid-20th Century French Catholic philosopher, Jacques Maritain, and University of San Francisco scholar, Dr. Ray Dennehy (who wrote the Foreward) talks with Ed about the connection between Christianity and Democracy – how Democracy flows from Catholic values, and what societies look like if they are not based on Christianity.

We also visit a group of young adults who’ll give us an inside look at the Catholic Underground – a dynamic (and hip) ministry of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal in the Diocese of Oakland. It’s for young adults, but they don’t card you at the door.

Enjoy these special articles in this week’s radio magazine on living the Faith.
