Bay Area Catholic for March 3rd

Bay Area Catholic PodcastDue to popular demand, your radio newsmagazine is now on 1260 AM San Francisco twice more each week–adding Mondays at 11 am and 9 pm. (Thanks, listeners!)

March 3rd’s Show:

  • Remember the traditional Marian procession? You may have walked in one a long time ago, or seen one in an old movie – villagers carrying a statue of the Blessed Mother through town, praying publicly. Our guest Mike Solton renewed this tradition in California’s Capitol three years ago, and each year, this growing procession brings Mary to the community. Mike tells you how you can bring a procession honoring Mary, publically praying the Rosary, to your community even this coming May.
  • Also, we revisit our conversation with Father Robert Baron, creator of the Catholicism TV/DVD series.
  • Another flashback to last Fall– Father Andrew Apostoli introduces us to the 50th Anniversary family Rosary crusade which he spoke at last October – history in the making.
  • All this, plus our regular features – a chapter from the dramatized audio New Testament, Catholic edition, a report from the Holy Land by Jacqueline Yvette, and more.
