Bay Area Catholic for Jan. 7, 2012

  • We conclude the liturgical Season of Christmas with this Sunday’s Gospel, a rewind to our Christmas Eve interview with Saint Nicholas, and we encore the pre-event live coverage we had of the October 15th, 2011, Family Rosary Crusade – which commemorated the 50th anniversary of Servant of God Patrick Peyton’s remarkable 1961 Rosary Rally which drew a half million people to Golden Gate Park to pray the Rosary for peace during a very scary time in World History.
  • Jacqueline Yvette, Immaculate Heart Radio’s Holy Land correspondent, provides another Holy Land Report, with more on the history of Bethlehem, thought to be the oldest city on Earth – 5,000 years old.
  • Father Branigan gives us a Christmas prayer and blessing.
  • The Pontifical Mission Society reminds us that if we are Baptized, we are missionaries.
